PeeWee Rep, U13, 2013-2014 (Goderich Minor Hockey)

The Lions Peewee Rep Sailors travelled to Kincardine on Saturday for game one of the WOAA Lockridge finals.

On Feb. 24th the Sailors travelled to Clinton to face off against the BCH IceDogs. BCH game out strong and put us behind by two going into the 2nd period. Seconds into the 2nd BCH notched another one to put us behind by 3.   Sailors just didn’t have our usual game face on. Finally, mid way into the period Ethan H got the team on the board to go into the 3rd trailing 3-1. The 3rd period the Sailors were able to get on the board with another 2 goals. The Lions Goderich Pee-Wee Rep team travelled to our sister city Bay City Michigan to join the Bay County Blizzard Peewee teams for some fun goodwill games and team bonding time on Feb 28, March 1 & 2.  The Sailors appreciated the generosity and hospitality of the Bay City teams. On arrival Friday evening, a large sign in the arena foyer welcomed our players. 

Sailors notched another win in Chesley against Arran-Elderslie. The Sailors came out strong and played a great game as a team. First period with 2 minutes left Carter got us on the board. Second period at 12:40 David assisted by Dmitri lengthened our lead to 2. Early in the 3rd at 14:19 Carter would score his 2nd of the game assisted by James and Justin. We continued to play a strong offensive game and our defense was strong. Jacob played a fantastic game in net earning the shut out. Tomorrow we head to Clinton to face-off against the BCH Ice Dogs.
