Lions Peewee Rep Sailors WOAA Lockridge Champions
The Lions Peewee Rep Sailors travelled to Kincardine on Saturday for game one of the WOAA Lockridge finals.

First and second periods both teams came out strong with back and forth action. Neither team was able to put one in between the pipes. The third period the Sailors came out flying with a breakaway goal by James to get us up on the board at 14:25. Sailors didn't let up determined to go for the win and at 10:46 Carter assisted by Josh put us up by 2 for the win. Jacob played an amazing game in net to keep Kincardine scoreless and earning the shut out.

Game Two we hosted Kincardine on home ice at the MRC to a well attended crowd on Sunday.
Both teams came out to play for the win as a win for Kincardine would mean a tied up series and for the Sailors it would mean victory.
With 1:26 left in the first period, Justin assisted by Carter and James found the back of the net to put us up going into the 2nd. At 5:16 in the second Ethan H assisted by Josh put us up to 2.
Kincardine's determination netted a goal at 4:20 to put them within reach. Justin assisted by James and Carter managed to net another with seconds left to have us up by 2 goals going into the third.

Third period action the Lions Peewee Rep Sailors were determined for the win and didn't let up with our offensive attacks by Caden, David, Justin, Ethan H, Ethan B, Kyler, Dmitri, Carter, and James.
Strong defense from Josh, Mark, Tyler and Kyle helped keep Kincardine at bay.
Bryson was solid between the pipes to keep Kincardine scoreless.
Our fearless captain decided to put the game away for us and at 11:55 Carter scored unassisted and then only seconds later at 11:36 Carter assisted by James and Justin secured the 5-1 win to take the WOAA Lockridge Title.
