These past few days saw the McGee Motors Novice Reps play a lot of hockey over a short amount of time. The Sailors were in a Consolation Round Robin with BCH and Hanover where each team had to play a home and home series.

On Friday March 4th they hosted the BCH Ice Dogs in their first round robin game.  The first period was scoreless as the two teams battled at each end, with both goalies standing tall in the pipes. In the second the Ice Dogs took a 2-0 lead before Sawyer got the Sailors on the board with his first of the night after taking a breakout pass from Cohen. Simon picked up the second assist on the goal.

On the 28th of November the McGee Motors Novice Reps hosted the Listowel Cyclones and came up with an incredible game from all perspectives.  The Sailors sent the Cyclones packing with a 9-1 win.

In the first after the Sailors applied a couple of minutes of constant pressure the Cyclones picked up a loose puck and opened the scoring for a 1-0 lead.  The Sailors did not let that goal slow them down as they scored three first period goals of their own as the defence pinched at every opportunity and the forwards worked the puck down low to the front of the net.
