Novice Rep, U8, 2012-2013 (Goderich Minor Hockey)

As the 2012/13 hockey season closes, we take a look back at our season and players that made great memories, win or lose.  

On Tuesday the Sailors traveled to Listowel to begin their 5 game series against a tough Listowel team.  After the first period both teams had battled to a 2-2 tie with goals going to Ethan C assisted by Wilder H and Jacob L assisted by Owen S. The next two periods saw chances at both ends, big saves and hard work, but it was Listowel getting one in the second and another in the third to come away with a 4-2 win.  The Sailors invite you to come out and cheer them on in game 2, Thursday at 7:00 pm at the Memorial Arena. GO SAILORS GO!  

The Novice Rep Sailors have begun their WOAA playoffs with their best foot forward, sweeping their first round with two straight victories over Saugeen Shores. 

After going undefeated to win the Seaforth Novice Rep Tournament in November, the Novice Rep Sailors had a run of tough games through December and January.  

A message from GMHI executive was received this afternoon, stating that our training for tonight is canceled. It will resume again after the holidays. See everyone on Friday.
