PeeWee AE, U13, 2011-2012 (Goderich Minor Hockey)

 Day 2 of the International Silver Stick Championships started even earlier than day 1. An 8:10 start in Fort Erie, meant a 5:45 wake up call for the boys. Making things worse, they were about to face the AE team of Orangeville, a AA centre with a population more than 4x that of Goderich. Things did not fair well for the Sailors, who came out with a loss in a very rough game. The Orangeville Flyers were much larger, and played a fast, physical game, and after several penalties, things quickly got out of hand.  

 On Friday December 30th the Kinsmen Pee Wee AE Sailors traveled to Milverton for the final regular season game. They started out sluggish, suffering from too much Christmas baking, and too long off the ice, but picked it up quickly.

On Wednesday December 21st, the Kinsmen Sailors traveled to Mitchell to face the Meteors. It was a defensive battle from the start, and the Sailors rode the stellar goaltending of Tanner to a 1-0 win.

 Sunday was gut-check day for the Kinsmen Pee Wee AE Sailors, and while they may have been out-sized, they weren't out-muscled or out-worked. The defense worked hard keeping Tanner protected, and the forwards battled for every inch of the offensive zone. In the end it was a hard-fought 4-3 win over Blyth/Brussels.

 Wednesday December 14th, the Kinsmen Pee Wee AE Sailors traveled to Mitchell to face their rivals, the Meteors.
