Kinsmen AE Beat Milverton Rep
On Friday December 30th the Kinsmen Pee Wee AE Sailors traveled to Milverton for the final regular season game. They started out sluggish, suffering from too much Christmas baking, and too long off the ice, but picked it up quickly.

Milverton jumped to a 1-0 lead early in the first, when they took advantage of a scramble in front of the Sailor net, and slid one by Liam. Midway through the second period, Noah finished off a nice passing play from Braeden and Tristan to tie the game. Justin took a nice breakaway pass from Troy, and scored to give the Sailors a 2-1 lead after two periods. A minute and a half into the final period, Milverton scored when the puck took a weird bounce past Tanner, but the Sailors answered back 15 seconds later, when Justin scored his second of the game, a power-play marker, from Luc and Mitchell. The Sailors took over from there, and scored four unanswered goals. Luc scored the Sailors fourth goal, assisted by Braeden and Mitchell. Mitchell then got one of his own, assisted by Braeden. Justin completed his hat trick with another power-play goal. Braeden scored the final goal, short-handed, assisted by Kyle and Luc, to make the final score 7-2 for the Sailors. The Sailors are off to Pelham next week for the International Silver Stick Championships. Their next home game is during Hockey Day in Goderich, Saturday January 14th, when they face the Listowel Cyclones at Maitland Arena, game time is 3pm.
