Silver Stick Hangover?
Sunday the Kinsmen Pee Wee AE Sailors were home to the Mitchell Meteors.
The Sailors came out a little flat, and Mitchell took advantage scoring just 58 seconds into the game, when a shot bounced in off a Sailor defenceman. Noah C tied it up before the end of the first period, when he scooped up a rebound, assisted by Luc A and Tyson C. The second period was much better for the Sailors, Chris G scored a pair of goals, the first a power-play marker, and the second a short handed effort. Assists went to Braeden D and Brady G. Unfortunately, the boys had a two minute lapse at the start of the third period, and gave up a pair of goals, one on a Mitchell power-play, to leave the game knotted at 3-3. The Sailors are in a tournament in Arthur next weekend, and their next home game is Sunday December 11th.
