PeeWee Scotiabank LL2 Play Off...
So, it appears as though the PeeWee Scotiabank LL2 team misinterpreted
the term “play-off” because, compared to the regular season, their play has
been just that - “off”. Although the LL2
squad has played some solid periods – they have failed to carry that intensity
through an entire game and the result has been zero wins through five
post-season contests.
Despite a disappointing play-off thus far – the coaches, parents and players have maintained a pretty positive attitude and we look forward to Wednesday night’s game in Drayton for a shot at redemption. This team can compete with Drayton as they displayed on Saturday when they held them scoreless until the last minute of the third. If the Sailors can play Wednesday’s game with the same effort and determination they displayed on Saturday - they should get the puck on net, score some goals and come away with the “W”. Let’s go Sailors!
The post season’s three goals thus far have been scored by Remi W, Spencer W and Aidan A with assists going to Jensen P and Kaleb C.
