Tough Week For Legion Sailors
On Wednesday Nov 26 the Sailors travelled to Hensall to play the BCH Ice Dogs.

The Sailors scored the only goal of the opening period off a strong forecheck.

Chase Kulich would get the marker after Dominic Burbine would initiate a strong forecheck. Kody Langlois would draw the other assist.

The visitors would go up by two in the second period when Mykal Hodges would net one after a BCH turnover. Again Langlois would be credited for the assist.

That would be all the scoring the Sailors would get and after allowing BCH to get one back, part way through the third, they would allow two power plays just over a minute a part and the hosts would record the 3-2 win.

Friday November 28 the Sailors would host the Mitchell Meteors at the MRC.

The hosts would be slow coming out of the gate and allow the visitors a two goal lead half way through the opening frame. The Sailors would get one back late in the period when Nic Souch would snap one home after Langlois cleanly won the faceoff. The home team would tie the score less a minute into the second period when Langlois would capitalize on a long stretch pass. Nate Helesic and Kulich would notch the assists. The Sailors would give up a power play goal to Mitchell but come back again with the equalizer when Burbine would deflect a point shot from Jared Cox, Langlois would record the other assist off the face off win. With under a minute to go in the second period a loose puck would find its way behind the Sailor goalie and they would start the third down a goal. The home team would tie the score with just over six minutes to play on the power play when Kulich would tuck in a rebound Souch and Langlois would get the helpers. With just over four minutes left in the game Mitchell pounce on a loose puck and tuck it in for the game winner and add an empty net goal to take away a 6-4 win.
