Playoff Update 1
Legion Sailor Results After First Round Bye

After sitting for 2 weeks because of first round bye, the Legion Sailors faced Mount Forest in the second round of preliminary match ups.
The Sailors would drop the first two games of the series. They lost Game 1 on January 25 in Mount Forest by 2-1 score in overtime. Game 2 in Goderich on January 31 at the MRC was overall collapse as the visitors skated away with 5-1 win and heading home for game 3 with a chance to sweep the series. On February 3rd Mount Forest hosted game 3. It was half way through the second period and the home team leading by a score of 3-1, the Sailors decided they were not ready to call it a season. They narrowed the score to within a goal before the second period intermission. The visitors came out in the third period and scored the even up goal just before the half way mark. Then with less than 5 minutes to go they scored the game winner and held on to force a game 4 back in Goderich.
Wednesday February 5 at the MRC the Legion Sailors recorded a 3-2 overtime win to even the series and send it back to Mount Forest for the deciding game 5. Chase Kulich netted the winner
On Sunday February 9th after three periods and one ten minute overtime the teams were tied at two goals each. This resulted in a game 6 at the MRC on Monday February 10.
Again after three periods the score was tied 2-2 and with the Sailors short handed Dominic Burbine raced down the wing and ripped the series winner past the Mount Forest goalie.

This set up the quarter final match up with BCH.
