The Storm currently sit on top of the standings in their division.

The Sailors would score less than three minutes into the game when Kody Langlois would convert a fast break out into a goal. Mykal Hodges and Thomas Pritchard would record the assists. Less than a minute later Mitch Fisher would make it two nothing when his shot would find the back of the net. Chase Kulich would notch the helper. The hosts would get both of those goals back late in the first period to make things even after one.

The Legion Sailors would regain the lead midway through the second period when off a faceoff Hodges would snap one in. Nic Souch and Fisher would be credited with the assists. The Sailors would go up by two midway through the third period when Souch would take a break out feed from Hodges.

The Storm would get one back with six minutes to go. But Jared Cox would shoot one the length of the ice into the hosts empty net to seal the win.

The game would only see 7 minor penalties assessed in total.
