November 14 , 15 and 16 the Sailors participated in the Aylmer Minor Hockey Rep Tournament.

Their first game was against the tournament hosts on Friday night.

After a scoreless first period the Sailor opened the scoring with a power play goal after a quick break out. Nate Helesic would get the goal with the assist going to Cody Langlois.

Langlois would add an unassisted  short handed marker before the period would end to give the Sailors a two lead.

The wheels would fall off for 8 minutes in the third period and the Sailors would give up 4 goals in that span. Controlling loose pucks and penalties would change the two lead to a two goal deficit and the an empty net goal by the host team would make the final 5-2.

The second game for the Sailors would be against Dorchester on the Saturday morning. This would be a good skating contest and the both teams  played very good disciplined styles. The Sailors would find themselves down by one goal after the first period and down by two goals after two periods. Early in the third the Sailors would trail by three before a blast from the point by Cam Brenner would get the Sailors on the board. Pressing for more offence would cause a problem as the Sailors would give up a fourth goal on a two man breakaway  and Dorchester would record the 4-1 win.

Game three was against Mt Bridges on the Saturday night. The Sailors would find themselves down by 1 after one period. They were pressing the play and appeared a little tense about going down three games straight.

They would get one early in the second after some strong end zone work. Langlois would record goal with the assist going to Helesic. Before the end of the second Langlois would get another goal from a hard blast and this time Tyler Johnston and Thomas Pritchard would credit for the helpers. Mt Brydges would tie it up early in the third while the teams were playing 4 on 4. The tie would be short lived as during the same 4 on 4 session Mitch Fisher would put the Sailors back in front with Mykal Hodges assisting.

Twenty seconds later Helesic would blast a  long hard one in the net to give the Sailors a two goal lead which they would not relinquish.

Mt Bridges would get one more but the Sailors would settle down and notch a 4-3 win.

This would allow them one more game on Sunday morning. And the schedule would put them back against Dorchester again. In another hard battle neither team would score in the first period. Dorchester would record their first goal on a two man power play and their second goal less than a minute later while still enjoying a one man advantage. Now the Sailors would find themselves down 2 goals after 2 periods. They would get one back half way through the third period when Langlois would deflect a Jared Cox point shot.

The Sailors would continue to press and with the goalie out of the net in favour of the extra man, Dorchester would net one to post a 3-1 win.
