Saturday Afternoon in Ripley
Saturday December 13 the Goderich Sailors Zehrs Markets Atom team travelled to Ripley to take on the Wolves. The game would turn out to be a tough one for the visiting team as it would end with a lopsided score.
A bright point for the Sailors was the second period, where they were able to hold the host team to only one goal. However in the first Ripley scored five and they would net five more in the third to give them an 11-0 victory.
Throughout the game Goderich played hard despite what the scoresheet said, with various players stepping up to help.
Next weekend the team hosts Wingham Friday night and Kincardine Kinucks team 1 on Saturday afternoon.
