Sailors Beat TCDMHA
On February 8, 2014, The Goderich Sailors faced-off against the TCDMHA Rebels. The first two periods of the game were scoreless heading into the third period.
With 11:24 left to play in the third period, Eli scored on a nice pass from Wade. Sailors took the lead and continued to pressure the Rebel's goalie with shot after shot. But with 6:37 left to play in the game the Rebels beat the Sailors goalie tying the game heading into the final minutes. With only 1:38 seconds to play, Jacob potted a goal that was assisted by Joey and Eric and the Sailors grabbed hold of the lead for good. Sailors win 2-1.
