2nd Win at YCW
The Pee Wee Reps overshadowed their opponents in their convincing 7 - 0 win against the Ingersoll team, giving goalie Branden Bean his first shut-out of the tournament.
The Sailors had the upper hand in the first period as Dominic Burbine, and Jarred Bakker (2) combined their efforts to put their team up 3 - 0. The Goderich boys displayed beautiful, fluid penalty killing in the second, as the Ingersoll team was on their heels trying to get on the scoreboard. Kody Langlois tipped a lovely shot by Ethan Lajeunesse into the net at 1:52 of the second period, capitalizing on a 5 on 3. Twenty seconds later, Burbine scored his second of the game to put the Sailors up 5 - 0. The third period saw the Sailors successfully kill off a double minor, and score 2 more goals for the solid and satisfying 7 - 0 win.
