Final Game against Listowel
The Pee Wee Rep Sailors fought hard but came up short in their final game against the Listowel Cyclones on Wednesday, March 10.
The first period was scoreless despite lots of action and offensive pressure by the Sailors. The Cyclones scored the first three goals in the second, but at 1:35 Dominic Burbine popped one in, assisted by Jarred Bakker, to make it 3 - 1 and put Goderich on the board. At 4:59 of the third period, Kyle Langlois, assisted by Kody Langlois and Ian Simpson, gave the Sailors even more life and closed the gap further, making it 3 - 2. Despite a gutsy fight, the Sailors gave up one more goal at 1:41, for a final score of Listowel 4, Sailors 2.
