The Midget AE Sailors win 3 and tie 1 in WOAA league play, to run their record to 7-1-1, good for second in their division.

On November 18th, the Midget AE Sailors were in Kincardine to face the Kinucks. Missing three regulars, the guys had a short bench, but were not short on hustle. They got off to a slow start, spotting Kincardine a 2-0 lead early, but regrouped for 7 unanswered goals in a 7-2 road win. Goals came from Daniel (x2), Noah N (x2), Braeden, Andy and Cole. Assists went to Braeden (x3), Mitchell R, Cole, Alex, Kody and Noah C.
November 25th, they went south, to play the Zurich Thunder. The Sailors took a 2-0 lead on goals by Braeden and Noah N (assists to Noah C and Daniel), but penalty issues allowed the Thunder to score on the powerplay. Final score was 2-2.
On December 3rd, after a seven road games (including the Silver Stick tournament), the Sailors were finally back home to face the Kincardine Kinucks. The guys had a little Silver Stick hangover, and came out sluggish. Having played 6 games in the previous 8 days, the Sailors called up AP Mitch C, to fill out the roster. Mitch provided his usual hustle, and scored the first Sailor goal on a deflection. The Sailors didn't have their jump, but managed a 3-1 home win. Scoring for the Sailors was Mitch C, Braeden, and Drew, while assists went to Brian and Cole.
December 8th was the final meeting between the Sailors and Zurich, at the Maitland Recreational Centre. Injury and illness led to some line juggling, and Cole got his long-awaited start at forward. He didn't take long to impress, hustling down a puck in the Zurich end and feeding Braeden for a goal 16 seconds in. The Sailors were relentless on the forecheck this game, and it led to a 5-1 win. Scoring for the Sailors was Braeden, Noah N, Alex, Ryan, and Mitchell R. Assists went to Colton (x2), Brian (x2), Braeden, Kody, Cole, Noah C, and Ryan.
The Sailors are back on the road for games in Walkerton and Teeswater, before hosting Kincardine and South Bruce on back to back nights, December 18 (8:45 pm) and December 19 (5:30) at the Maitland Rec Centre.
