Peewee AE's Win Two in a Row
On December 22, 2014, the Goderich Kinsmen Peewee AE's played host to the traveling Saugeen Shores Storm at the Maitland Recreation Centre.  This would be the third time the two teams have faced-off against one another with Saugeen taking the first two meetings with relative ease.

Saugeen stormed out of the gate early scoring their first goal just 58 seconds into the first period.  And from there the play would go back and forth with both teams making excellent plays but Grayson found his game and held the fort.

The second period found the Boatmen getting the go-ahead goal just 4:13 into the period when Dmitri beat the Storm goalie (assisted by Jensen).  Saugeen would bounce back less than a minute later evening the game at 2's.  The Storm would then take the lead from the Sailors scoring with just under 7:00 left to play in the second sending the Boatmen into intermission down by 1.

The Sailors would come out flying in the third scoring 3 unanswered goals.  The first was when Dmitri passed the puck to Ryan who swooped around the Storm net and fired the puck off of Jensen's skate to tie the game at 2's.  Then Jacob would start the play by passing the puck to Eli, who passed the puck up the ice to Ethan who would fire the puck past the Storm goalie to take the lead 3-2 for the Sailors.  Then Dmitri found Jack on the side boards who passed the puck to Eli who scored the Sailors 5th goal of the game.

The Storm tried desperately to fight back and made some progress scoring with just 4:06 left in the third.  However, with just over a minute left to play in the game Joe grabbed a loose puck and fired it the length of the ice and into the open net to seal the Storm's fate.

Saugeen score one more late goal but it did not dampen the mood or Grayson's performance in net.

The Sailors carry a two game winning streak into the holiday season!
