A Tie and a Loss
On December 13, 2014, the Goderich Kinsmen Peewee AE's traveled to Zurich. Despite the hard work on behalf of the Sailors the boys could only manage a tie against a Zurich team who were rewarded with break after break.
On December 14, 2014, the Boatmen continued on their road trip traveling to Milverton to take on the Drive. Goderich held their own in the first period and headed into the second period tied at 0. In the second period the Drives got on the board first opening the scoring at 10:27. Then, right after the farce-off at center ice, Wade passed the puck to Ethan who took the puck into the Milverton end and snapped the puck off of the cross bar and then the post and into the back of the Milverton net to tie the game at 1's. Milverton did answer back quickly when they scored their second goal of the game just 2 minutes later and by the time the second period was over Milverton was up 3-1 on the visiting Sailors team.
Milverton struck early in the third to make the score 4-1 and then with 5:06 remaining in the game Adrien passed the puck to Aidan who passed the puck to Ryan who fired the puck by the Milverton goalie to make the final score 4-2.
"Too bad the one goal we got didn't count cause it could have really changed the outcome of the game."
