BACK TO BACK WINS FOR OUR JENKINS BANTAM REP
The Boys started the weekend off with a game Friday night against the Hanover Falcons at the MRC, winning 4-3.
The second game was Sunday evening at the Memorial arena against Blyth/Brussels Crusaders which the boys won 4-2.

Friday's game was scoreless til Tyler put us on the scoreboard 8:48 into the second period. Hanover answered back two minutes later tying the score at 1-1 after 2 periods of play. The boys came out hungry in the third. Bayden scored at the 12:12 mark with David picking up the only assist. Carter extended our lead to 3-1 at the 8:11 mark with Tyler picking up the assist. Bayden scored 10 seconds later to give us a 3 goal lead Tyler picked up another assist on this goal. This goal would turn out to be the game winning goal as the boys got into some penalty trouble late in the third. But Jake and our D-fence held the fort. Killing off 4 straight penalties in the last 5 minutes. Great Work boys
Sunday night brought Blyth/Brussel to town. Carter open the scoring for the Jenkins Bantams at 5:40 of the first period with David and Tyson picking up the assists on the goal. Tyson extended our lead at the 1:45 mark of the first period on a friendly bounce out of the corner. Bayden made it 3-0 at 3:16 of the second period. Blyth/Brussels answered with a goal at 2:27 of the second. Making it 3-1 at the break. Blyth/Brussels pulled within a goal at the 7:24 mark of the third. Carter popped his second of the game for insurance at the 4:27 mark of the third. making it 4-2. Jacob once again stood tall and all the boys worked hard through the last 5 minutes holding off the rush of the Crusaders.
