Jenkins Bantams pick up another win
The Jenkin Bantam Rep have had a a run of close hard battled games in November.  

It all started at home on Saturday November 1 when the Seaforth Stars came to town.The boys got of to a slow start, getting down by 2 early. Bayden got the Jenkins Bantams on the board with assists going to Brady and Tyler. Seaforth extended their lead by the end of the second. The boys didn't give up they closed the lead to 4-2 when Carter score a unassisted goal. minutes later Tyler pulled us within a goal with assists going to Bayden and Brady. The team battled hard to try and tie the game up but Seaforth scored to make it a 5-3 final.

On Sunday November 2 the First place Mitchell Meteors came to town. The Jenkins Reps where ready for another hard fought battle. Te game was scoreless through the first period. Micthell scored early in the second, they extended their lead to 2 goals at the 6 minute mark. Our boy's continue to battle, Tyler popped a goal before the second was over Brady and Tyson picked up the assists. The third period was a back and forth battle with Mitchell extending their lead early. But Carter scored to make it 3-2 with 9 minutes left. Micthell scored two minutes later extending their lead again. The Boys showed no quit and keep pressuring and Tyler was rewarded scoring with assists going to Bayden and Tyson. The boys pressed hard trying to get the equalizer. But with 47 seconds left Mitchell scored to make the final 5-3.

The Jenkins Rep went back into action on Friday November 7 in the Bill Batten Memorial Tournament in Exeter against South Bruce. The first period was a scoreless battle with both teams trading chances. South Bruce scored twice in the middle frame, and extended their lead to 3-0 in the third. The boys faced St Mary's in the second game of the tourney. The boys battled hard all game. The final score was 4-0 but the boys battled hard and couldn't get a bounce to go their way. The boys went back on November 8 to face Belmont. It was a hard fought game with no scoring till the third period. Belmont scored at the 8 minute mark then again with 2 minutes left. Our boys didn't go away with out a battle. Tyler scored with a little over a minute left.  The boys couldn't get the equalizer. Final score 2-1

On November 14 the South Bruce reps came to town for a rematch. The Jenkins Reps got on the board first on a goal by Brady with assists going to Tyler and Carter. South Bruce scored 3 unanswered before the first period was done. It was a hard fought battle the rest of the way with the second period being scoreless. South Bruce extended their lead to 4-1 early in the third. The boys fought hard but couldn't get any closer. Keep up the hard work boys you will be rewarded.

After a week of practice and hard work the Jenkins Bantams traveled to Listowel for a Sunday night match. The Boys came ready to play. Forcing the play right from the puck drop. Tyler put the boys on the board at the 7 minute mark of the first with assists going to Brady and Jackson. Two minutes later Josh L popped his first of the year on a pass from Carter and Mitch. The teams battled hard for the rest of the game trading chances at both ends. Listowel pulled within a goal half way through the second. The boys showed heart killing off 5 straight penalties. Jacob shut the door in net and Mitchell, Bayden, Jackson, Dwyer worked hard on D. Keep up the hard work boys. 

The Jenkins Reps are in action again Wednesday when they travel to Elma Logan to play Mitchell 9 pm puck drop.
