Goderich Bantam Jenkins Rep Team
The Bantam Jenkins Rep Sailors started their regular season off with a home tilt against the Wingham Ironmen on October 17/14. It was a hard fought battle from the puck drop Wingham started the scoring at the 8:31 of the first period. Bayden P. quickly responded a minute later with a laser to the top corner. The teams battled hard back and forth till the 3 minute mark of the 3rd period when Wingham took a 2-1 lead and hung on for the win.
On October 24/14 the Jenkins Sailors traveled to Brussels for a tilt with the Crusaders. The Crusaders got on the board half through the first on a power play goal. The Crusaders extended the lead with another power play goal early in the second period. Bayden P. got the Jenkins reps within a goal with a assist going to Tyler H. The Crusaders restored their two goal lead late in the third. It was a hard fought third period with the teams trading chances. The Crusader put the icing on the game scoring with less then a minute left.
On October 26 the Jenkins Sailors traveled to Hanover for a tilt against the Falcons. Both teams battled hard through a scoreless first period. Jenkins Sailors got on the board at 12:05 of the second period on a goal by Carter T. with assist going to Bayden P. The Jenkins Sailors extended their lead in the third period with Brady G. converting a pass from Josh L. Jacob A. would stop all shot fired his way to get the first Shutout of the year. Hard work was rewarded, keep it up boys. Great game to all of our boys.
