Sailors Blank Meteors
On Wednesday December 21st, the Kinsmen Sailors traveled to Mitchell to face the Meteors. It was a defensive battle from the start, and the Sailors rode the stellar goaltending of Tanner to a 1-0 win.
Dwyer scored the only goal of the game, a power-play marker, on a wrist shot from the point, assisted by Owain and Chris. The penalty killers came up large in the last 5 minutes, as the Sailors drew 12 minutes in penalties over that period, and also faced the extra attacker once Mitchell pulled the goalie.
