Home Opener against Milverton

The team played again on Saturday to a 5-2 loss against Milverton. It’s too bad that there wasn’t a practice between the games to allow the coaches and players to work on the things they learned about their team from the previous night’s game. Graham Roth scored twice, with Adrien Arbour assisting on the second goal, Jamie Pritchard rang one off the post shortly after, and several players had decent scoring chances in the third period, raising hopes of a comeback. The puck just wouldn’t bounce in our favour. The team did show signs of beginning to play together as a team and if heart counted for goals we would have won that game. Everyone gave his or her best.
