Goderich Lions PeeWee Rep on a Roll

On October 26 The Lions Peewee Rep team travelled to Milverton for a rematch with the Milverton Drives. Goderich got off to a slow start in the first going down a goal early but came back to tie the game in the first on a goal by Cole Lewis with assists going to Cameron Brenner and Liam Armstrong. Still  not playing the way they can the Sailors got down by two goals. Then shortly after they would find the net again with a goal late in the second period off the stick of Kody Langlois with the assists going to Dominic Burbine and Liam Armstrong. Heading to the third down one goal the Sailors would find there legs and score two unanswered goals in the final 6 minutes of the game.

Those goals coming from Kody Langlois assisted by Kody Ritchie and Liam Armstrong, with the final goal coming from Liam Armstrong to complete a four point night for Liam. the assists going to Kody Ritchie and Jack Morris. Timely save from Branden Bean kept the Sailors in position to make the comeback win possible.

With three straight wins under there belts the Sailors would play at home on November 2nd.   The Sailors would find themselves short three players due to injuries but would come to the gate playing a very hard fast pace first period of hockey against Teeswater. There would be no scoring in the first despite many chances for both teams but Goderich goalie Zach Smith would not be beaten in the first. Both teams would come out in the second scoring quick with Tyler Dickson scoring the first goal of the game from Tyler Johnston and Nate Helesic less than a minute later Teeswater would tie the game. Not to be outdone the Sailors would reply with two more goals in the second period, the first was scored by Tyler Johnston with the only assist going to Cameron Brenner. The second being scored unassisted by Kyle Langlois with just .56 seconds left on the clock. Heading to the third the Teeswater team down two goals would come out looking to make this a closer game and did get within  one goal 7 minutes into the third but again the Sailors would fight back and score two more goals to take there fourth win in a row. The sailors fourth goal was scored by Dominic Burbine while shorthanded with the assist going to Mitchell Fisher, then with only 16 second left in the game Tyler Dickson would net his second of the game from Tyler Johnston and Mitchell Fisher. Great game from the goaltender, defence and offense way to go Sailors on another great game . The Sailors next home game is on Tuesday night November the 9th at 7 pm at the Memorial Arena come on out and enjoy some Peewee hockey.
