Two in a Row
On Wednesday night the Goderich Lions PeeWee rep team played in Lucknow. The first period saw some end to end action with both teams playing very well, but it would be the Sailors getting out to a lead with a goal by Kyle Langlois  assisted by Kody Langlois. In the second period Lucknow would pull even on a goal by Morgan Murray, not giving up the sailors would reply with two more goals in the second period, the first scored by Dominic Burbine with assists to Kody Langlois and Kody Ritchie, followed by a goal from Drewby Dorey assisted by Kody Langlois and Nate Helesic.  

Solid goaltending by Branden Bean kept the Sailors in the lead until Lucknow scored there second goal of the game by Kurtis Murray. Not to be outdone the Sailors would again score to go ahead by two on a goal from Mitchell Fisher with assists going to Cameron Brenner and Tyler Johnston. Lucknow would score a late goal in the third from Kurtis Murray but it was too late to score anymore as the Sailors would take home the victory.

On Sunday the Sailors would take on the Minto Mad Dogs at home and got off to a great start  in the first period on goals from Kody Langlois and Kyle Langlois with assists going to Cole Lewis and Kyle Langlois and Liam Armstrong. The team playing very strong at both ends of the ice would go ahead with another goal from Nate Helesic from Cameron Brenner and Kyle Langlois, Minto then got on the board with a goal from Austin Richardson great goaltending by Zach Smith helping the Sailors stay ahead. Again working very hard at both ends of the ice would pay off for the home team as they would restore the three goal lead Kyle Langlois netted his second goal of the game with a big shot from the point with the nice pass from Dominic Burbine. Third period action saw the visitors find the net early with a goal by Josh Scott, but the Sailors would respond again with two more goals before the end of the game the fifth goal was scored by Drewby Dorey as he was parked in front of the Minto goal and put away a pass from behind the net by Nate Helesic with a second assist going to Jack Morris. The Sailors final goal was scored short handed by Dominic Burbine from Kyle Langlois. Great game played by the entire team at both ends of the ice. The team will now travel to Milverton for a rematch with the Sailors winning the first game 9-4 a couple of weeks ago
