5-2 win over Normanby
At the Ayton Arena Complex on Sunday night
the Goderich Midget Sailorettes won an impressive 5-2 win over Normanby. Jacqueline Martin scored the first Goderich goal early in the first period with assists from Michelle Kelly and Taylor Pritchard.
The second period saw the remainder of the Goderich scoring as Laura Smith scored single handed against the Normanby defence.
Kristen McColl scored a nice goal from the slot with assists from Emily Gordon and Jaden Mitchell. Moments later Shayla Mathers tucked one into the net ably assisted by Jessica Ryan and Julia Huber. Huber scored the last Goderich goal of the game with seconds left in the period.
Great teamwork handed the Midget Sailorettes yet another victory.
