Tough Week for the Midget Reps
The Goderich Rep team played 2 games this week but only came out with one point.

The Goderich Midget Rep Team played last Monday night at home against the Storm (Saugeen Shores).  Opening scoring wasn’t until the second period when Goderich player, Shawn Bean, managed to put the home team on the score board.Saugeen Shores having a 5-3 man advantage tied the game up.  Saugeen would score once again putting them in the lead until Adam Lamb found the mesh tying the game at 2-2 going into the third. Saugeen came out in the third period tallying up two more goals, once again capitalizing on a 5-3 man advantage. William Kelly started the home team on a comeback trail after scoring a rebound goal off of Cory Troudeau.  Unfortunately time ran out and the Midget’s lost 4-3. The team played at home again on Thursday night against The Mitchell Meteors. The Goderich team were able to rack up 3 early goals in the first period thanks to Patrick Kelly, William Kelly and Adam Lamb. Coy Kulich had an unassited goal making the score 4-1 for Goderich. The Meteors would score once more before ending the first period 4-2. Goderich would have a rough start in the second period mainly due to the continuation of numerous penalites allowing Mitchell to tie the game up by scoring two more goals. Mitchell would score first in the third period giving them the go ahead goal.  Goderich who had a 4-1 lead at one time were determined not to go down without a fight. Dean Reynolds and Adam Lamb stepped up to the plate when Reynolds rifled a beauty shot from the blueline and Lamb tipped it in allowing the team to save face with a tie.
