Midget Rep Team Ends Week with a 1-1-1 Record
Monday October 27th started their week off against the Kincardine Kinucks.

James Whitely got things started by scoring the first goal of the game against an evenly matched Kincardine team.  Goalie, Shawn Gethke, was tested halfway through the period when he robbed a Kincardine player of a breakaway goal.  The defence did an excellent job of killing off penalties in the second period to keep the score at 1-0. Early in the third period Kincardine managed to score a goal ending the game in a tie.

The next game for the Midget Rep team was played at home on Devil's Night against Listowel. The first period was scoreless essentially because of the great goaltending on both teams, Goderich goalie was Lucas Denomme. In the second period Andrew Hogan-Cann did an awesome job of keeping the puck in the Listowel end allowing Josh Martel to score a rebound goal off of Adam Lamb. Listowel would score twice in the second ending the period 2-1.  Unfortunately for our boys Devil's night became a reality when the puck became possessed allowing the Listowel Team to score three more goals.

On Sat. Nov. 1st, the boys ended the week on a winning note against Kincardine with a score of 4-2.  The game remained scoreless until the second period when Kincardine managed to notch two quick goals. Big mistake! This seemed to ignite our boys and the rest of the game was all Goderich. Gary Lynch started things off scoring on a nice pass from defenceman, Kody Kohnert. Shawn Bean tied things up 30 seconds into the third period assisted by Coy Kulich.  Gary Lynch would score two more times in the third earning him a well deserved hat trick assisted by teammates Adam Lamb and Andrew Hogan-Cann. Great goaltending by Shawn Gethke who made some sensational saves during the game.
