The Goderich Midget Rep season is now underway. Goderich was the host to Wingham on Monday Oct 20th at the Maitland Rec Center.
Goderich opened the scoring in the 1st period with a goal from a Tyler Million assisted by an awesome setup from Cory Troudeau. The 2nd period was full of penalties. Although shorthanded for much of the period the boys managed to net 2 more goals. Shawn McColl and Andrew Hogan-Cann both score assisted by Gary Lynch and Dean Reynolds. The 3rd period saw more penalties but the boys played hard and scored 2 more goals. Scoring from Shawn Bean and Million assisted by Reynolds and McColl. Goderich hung on to win the game 5-2.
Sat Oct 25th
The midget boys travelled to Southhampton for a game against Saugeen Shores. Saugeen scored in the 1st period but neither team would see any more scoring until the 3rd period. Goderich would score 2 goals in the 3rd. Goals were scored by Josh Martel, and Will Kelly both unassisted. Although the boys played a strong game they would lose to Saugeen 4-2.
