Bantam Sailorettes won a stunning 9-1 victory over the Wiarton Wilds.
In Wiarton on Saturday, the Bantam Sailorettes won a stunning 9-1 victory over the Wiarton Wilds.


Michelle Kelly opened the Goderich scoring with two goals early in the first period.  Kelly's first goal was assisted by Aja Hogan-Cann and Jaden Mitchell.  Moments later Brooke Guikema deflected the puck to Kelly assisted her second goal. 
     Goderich went on to dominate the period with goals by Emily Gordon who was assisted by Katelyn Skinnier.  Ali Frayne, just back from an injury, assisted Gordon's second goal.
      Shayla Mathers and Jordan McWhinney set up Mitchell's second goal.  Emily Gordon got her third goal of the evening with assists from Hogan-Cann and Mitchell.
      Brooke Guikema got a pair of goals in the third period on passes from Skinner, McWhinney and Hogan-Cann.   Kelly capped the Goderich scoring with her third goal of the game late in the third period.
      Goaltender Jessica Yates stopped three breakaways in the final minute of the third period.    Throughout the game, the Sailorette's offensive lines dominated the action giving Goderich the convincing 9-1 win.
