The Bantom Sailorettes won one game and lost two in last week's play. On Thursday, the Sailorette's suffered a rare 3-2 loss to Kincardine. In an evenly fought game, the Sailorette's Goderich defensive line of Taylor Hulley and Aja-Hogan Cann thwarted the Kincardine offence. Ali Frayne scored both of the Goderich goals. Frayne's second goal was assisted by Katelyn Skinner.
In exhibition play against Markdale, the Sailorette's endured a 4-2 loss. Michelle Kelly scored the first Goderich goal and Jaden Mitchell earned the Sailorette's last goal.
At Memorial Arena on Sunday, the Sailorettes won a 2-0 victory over the Walkerton Capitals. Aggressive play allowed Goderich to take an early lead as Emily Gordon scored with an assist from Jordan McWhinney. Gordon clinched the game with an unassisted third period goal. Brooke Guikema, Jacquelin Martin and Kelsa Curran helped netminder Jessica Yates' shutout.
