PeeWee Lions Rep, U13, 2018-2019 (Goderich Minor Hockey)

Over the last couple of weeks the Lions Pee Wee Reps have been battling the Ilderton Jets in the OMHA Semi Finals and what a series it was!!!! In Game 1 the Ilderton Jets traveled to Goderich to face the Sailors at MRC, where they have been almost unbeatable on home ice. Ilderton came out strong taking a 2-0 lead into the second period, however the Sailors were not going away quietly and battled back to tie the game at two heading to the third period. Unfortunately the Jets were able to squeeze one in late in the third to take the game 3-2 and a 1-0 series lead.

The Goderich Lions Pee Wee Reps continue to roll advancing to the semi finals of the OMHA Playdowns with a three games to one win against the Hanover Falcons. Game 1 saw the Sailors dominate from start to finish, winning every little puck battle and showing the Falcons their team speed and ability to move the puck. This team played a full 200 foot game in both the offensive and defensive zones winning 6-0. However this series lead was short lived when the Lions Pee Wee Reps traveled to Hanover for Game 2. The Goderich Lions Pee Wee Rep's have had an incredibly successful season thus far. This group set goals for themselves at the start of the year and have been able to meet those goals through hard work, dedication and a team first attitude. One of those goals was to go undefeated throughout the regular season, which we all know is no small feat.
