Sailors Improve but Still Fall to Wolves 2-0
Submitted By sdoherty on Sat 02 25, 17
The Sailors lost a close game to the visiting Ripley Wolves at the Maitland Rec. Centre this afternoon.  Although they lost 2-0 – the Sailors played their best play-off hockey thus far.  The Sailors were passing better today and skated a lot harder than in previous outings.  The big difference with this game was effort level – the Kinsmen Crew did not give up today and were pressing with shots on net and much better puck possession.  The Sailors could have beaten the Wolves if a few bounces had gone their way.  This game also marked the team’s best defensive effort in a long time.  Keep playing like this and things will start to go your way Sailors!
