The Comeback Kids!
December 1 – Ripley
Wolves at Goderich Sailors. The Ripley Wolves proved to be a
challenging opponent for the Sailors and landed a goal less than a minute into
the game. However, the Sailors
rallied and Ryan was able to land a nice deke goal (assisted by Remi and Aiden)
to end the first period 1-1. Despite
numerous chances to score against the Wolves in the second period, Ripley got a
couple of breaks and landed two more goals to make it 3-1. The third period belonged to Goderich
with great teamwork that resulted in 3 goals for the Sailors!
Remi started the scoring with a sweet top shelf goal at the 10:25 mark of the period (assisted by Adrien). Ryan tied things up 3-3 with another goal on a beautiful set-up from Curtis. With a nice pass from Paige, Remi got the winning goal after a close race against two Ripley players. A very exciting game and comeback - way to go Sailors!
