Novice LL2, U8, 2011-2012 (Goderich Minor Hockey)

! Another exciting game for Goderich Novice LL#2. The team was at home playing Goderich LL#1 for the first time this season.

 It was a great weekend of hockey for the Novice local league #2 team. It started Saturday with a home game against Zurich. The team started out strong with a quick goal from Peyton McEwen assisted by Caden Beange, and added another a couple minutes later from Jacob Stinson assisted by Ben Gillam.

What a keen group of players.  We have had a chance to play in different positions every game and everyone is doing great. I am very happy with the way everyone is trying in the games as well as practices.  Eric V., Caden B., and Jack L. have all been playing great in net.  We will continue to get better as the season goes!  After a couple of more games  we will be in our set positions and everyone will be more comfortable and confident.  Keep up the good work everyone!!

Just a reminder for the upcoming week.  We have practice on Tuesday at the regular time.  We then have an exhibition game on Friday against BCH (the team we just played) at 6 o'clock.  This game is not on the schedule. Larry

Just a reminder to everyone to meet with Nancy at the Memorial Arena at 9:30 Saturday morning to start the Bottle/canned food drive.  Would all the players involved wear a hockey jersey so people in the community will know you are part of minor hockey.  There is also a bbq at the "Y" after plus a hockey clothing sale.  Hope everyone has fun.
