Exciting Comeback for the Sailors
October 14th - Blyth/Brussels vs. Goderich Sailors.  The combined forces of Blyth and Brussels proved to be a formidable opponent for the Sailors.  The Bulls started the game off with a goal at the 8:34 mark  – but were answered two minutes later with an unassisted goal by Joseph.  Grayson held off the Bulls with some amazing saves to hold the first period at a 1-1 tie.  The Bulls came out strong in the second period to get 3 goals in the first half of the period to make it a 4-1 game.

The Sailors found their groove as a team in the second period and turned up the heat - leading to a goal by Joseph at the 5:00 minute mark (assisted by Evan and Paige).  Cody landed a third goal for the Sailors two minutes later (assisted by Caleb and Ethan) to close the gap to 4-3.  Five minutes into the third period, Cody tied up the game 4-4 with an amazing goal (assisted by Jack).  The rest of the period was an exciting and even battle between the two teams - with outstanding goaltending by Grayson and superb defense by the Sailors' defensive line to hold the final score at a 1-1- tie!  Great game Sailors – keep up the hard work!
