Atom Sailorettes are International Silver Stick Champions
Submitted By Joanne Johnston on Mon 02 15, 10
The Mcgeemotors.ca Atom Sailorettes have returned from Aurora, Ontario as International Silver Stick Atom "A" Champions for 2010.  This is a "hat trick" for tournaments as its tournament win #3 for the girls this season.

The team faced off against some tough competition and will have to practice hard if they want to beat these teams at Provincials.   The girls had one loss during the tournament and that was their first game on Friday.  The Whitby Wolves threw a 1-0 loss at the girls, however they didn't let that discourage them and they came back to win the next four games defeating Nepean 5-2, Sarnia 3-0, Kingston 1-0 in the semi-finals and Peterborough 2-1 in the final in dramatic fashion with a a Sudden death shootout that took 8 shooters before the game was decided.

Well done girls, your determination prevailed once again.

Hippup Hooray, Hippup Hooray.  Holy moly what a goalie, holy moly what a team.  On the  count of three let's scream... Yeah Sailorettes!!
