The Sailors next challenge was Embro, and a challenge it was indeed.  The game remained scoreless at the end of the first period.  Sloan scored the first Sailors’ goal, with an assist awarded to Parent and Tomlinson at 8:05.  Morris added one more goal for the Sailors, assisted by Joshua Larkin; however Embro answered back seconds later and yet again in the second period, leaving the score 2-2 at the end of the second.  Sloan regained the Sailors lead, with an assist by Bean at 6:53 in the third; then with 2:32 left on the clock Buchanan scored, assisted by Parent and Baker; however the Sailors were not done yet.  Shooting on an empty net, Stanbury netted one final goal for the Sailors, assisted by Buchanan.  The Sailors defeated Embro 5-2, with Kyle Prouse playing a strong game in net.

In the third and final game of the day, Drayton had the upper hand, by one goal at the end of the first period.  However Bean was able to tie the score by the end of the second period, assisted by Buchanan and Morris.  In the third period the Sailors came on fire.  At 9:34 Buchanan scored, unassisted, with Stanbury to net another goal for the Sailors 20 seconds later, unassisted.  Sloan too scored, unassisted at 3:53.  At 2:21 Stanbury scored again, assisted by Zolob and Bean.  Then with 0.8 seconds on the clock Buchanan scored again for the Sailors, leaving the score 6-1.  Abbott again played a strong game between the pipes for the Sailors.  Although not awarded on the tournament game sheets Dwyer Brown, Brady Gerber and Nathan Erb contributed to the Sailors victory due to their strong defensive skills.
