WOAA playoffs game 1 vs South Bruce
Pre game notes:
- After enjoying the Goderich tykes play, It is too cold to watch the Atom reps play!!
- I'll need to go in and warm up.
- Too cold to type! But, if the brave and strong coaches can handle it, well so can I!
- Coach Tim, you're not in Florida anymore!
Period 1:
Quick goal to start it off, Coups takes a huge shot from point, Cody got the rebound and passed it out to Jacob, and he jammed it in the net.
1-0 Goderich, Jacob goal, assists Cody and Coups.
Some great chances so far, quality shots! The South Bruce goalie is solid!
Joe is a machine on the back check!
Jacob got robbed by an amazing glove save.
Sailors win the first period, 2 more to go.
Period 2:
Cody makes some great moves around the defence. He dragged the puck and scored on a sweet back hand, top shelf.
2-0 Goderich, Cody goal, unassisted.
Ryan passed it back to Coups who took a big shot from point and Joe knocked in the rebound.
3-0 Goderich, Joe scored, assists to Coups and Ryan.
Cody makes a sweet pass over to Remi for a one timer, just missed.
Goderich on the penalty kill? 3 great chances for a shortie- Remi, Joe and Ryan.
Won the second period , 900 seconds to go.
Period 3:
Remi cleared it, Cody skated down the wing deked the goalie and slid it in.
Goderich 4-0, Cody scored, assist Remi
Remi passed out front to a wide open Jacob. 1 whack, 2 whacks, 3 times a charm. Jacob, way to not give up. Goderich 5-0, Jacob scored, assist to Remi
Grayson awesome kick save to keep the shoot out going!
Goderich is in penalty trouble! Yikes 2 men down.
Well, the best way to kill off a penalty is to get a shortie! Shortie for Joe, Evan assisted.
Goderich 6-0, Joe shortie goal, assist to Evan
To finish up the game, Coups' shot from point found the back of the net after Ryan passed it back to the point.

Great team victory!! Passing was tremendous. Hard skating every shift. Stuck up for each other. Excellent boys!
