Time to Get Caught Up
Now that the holidays are upon us and some of us have more free time to get caught up on our responsibilities, the following unreported games will be posted:
League game vs Mt Forest
League game vs Walkerton
League game vs BCH
Mt Forest
Date: December 7th
A new warm-up has been added to the boys pregame ritual.
Period 1:
No goals scored by either team.
Period 2:
Cody started off the scoring with an assist by Remi.
Goderich 1 - 0
Mt Forest responded with 2 goals to take a 2- 1 lead.
The Atom Reps fought back to tie the game.
Ryan scored with assists to Cody and Ethan.
Score 2 - 2
Cody showed off his slick leathery hands by deflecting in a pass from Jacob.
Put this game and date in your files because Grayson made it on to the score sheet. He was credited with the first assist!!! Atta boy Grayson, Greztky's assist record is next on your list, right!!
After Ethan fired the puck in from the point, Ryan corralled the loose puck from behind the net and sent it out to Cody, where he notched his hat trick goal!!! Goderich Goal - Cody, assists from Ryan and Ethan

3rd Period :
Mt Forest scored an early goal to close the gap, and set up for an exciting finish.

Well, Cody sealed the fate of this game with an end to end rush.

Cody had one of those games I'm sure he will remember for a while. A 4 goal, 5 point night!!! Congratulations Cody!!!
League Game vs Walkerton
Date: December 14th
Well, the Goderich fans have arrived. All 7 of them! Lots of home town love!!
Period 1:
Early penalty call against the boys in white.
On the penalty kill, Joe rushed in on a break away but was stoned by the Walkerton goalie. On the same penalty kill, Remi fired one of his patented "bullets" from the point that almost made through.
The rest of the period was all Walkerton, as they fired in 2 goals.
Score 2 - 0 Walkerton

Period 2:
During a Goderich power play, Ethan fired a shot from the point in which Cody got hold of the rebound and tipped it over to Ryan for a power play goal.
Goderich goal - Ryan, assists to Cody and Ethan
During a 2 man Goderich power play, Ryan notched his second of the game.
Goderich goal - Ryan, assists to Cody and Peyton
To keep the game tied, Grayson made a HUGE save in close and gave up no rebound.

Period 3:
Walkerton took lead, score 3 - 2
As the puck flew over the boards, Coach Derek showed off his dazzling athletic abilities by snagging the puck in mid air. Who would have thought that someone could get their hands out of the pockets so quickly! Hopefully the Atom Reps will be inspired by their coach's performance.
Sadly, Walkerton took advantage of the energy in the building to score 2 goals in a row.

Cody got the boys back into it, with an end to end rush.
Score 5 - 3
Quickly Walkerton restored their 2 goal cushion.
Score 6 - 3
To end the night on a positive note, Ryan tallied Goderich's 4th goal of the game, his hat trick goal!!

League game vs BCH
Although a buzz was present amongst the players and fans alike, an extra long warm up diminished some of the pre-game excitement. It's good to see that other hockey organizations have refs that show up late as well.
Today's game was one of the more quieter games in recent history, not a lot of scoring chances for either team.
With BCH leading 1 - 0, Jacob chipped the puck off the boards and Cody corralled it inside of Goderich's blue line. Cody preceded to rush the puck up the ice, deking the BCH defenders, and then fired one in to tie the score.
Score 1 - 1.
The score sheet remained blank for the remainder of the game
