Novice Garb and Gear Sailors Take Home Another Win!
On Saturday the team travelled to Lucknow and came out with the win.
The Sailors showed strong offensive and defensive skills keeping most of the exciting action in the Lucknow zone.
In the first period, Logan got the puck over to Caeleb for a breakaway to put us on the board 1-0.
One minute into the 2nd period Jaden scored assisted by Caeleb off the draw to put us up 2-0. With 2 minutes left in the second, Lucknow answered back with a goal that slipped past Michael to make the score 2-1. In the final minute of the second Graham assisted by Tanner reinforced our lead to 3-1.
Eleven seconds into the 3rd Mason assisted by Jace put the Sailors up to 4 for a commanding lead. Tanner scored a beautiful goal unassisted and Mason scored his second of the game to seal the deal for a final score of 6-1.
