A Great End to an Awesome Season!
The guys wrapped
up an impressive season with a B Championship victory at the Annual Waterloo
Wolves Fun Festival on April 1-3. The
tournament win for the Sailors was a great way to end an already strong 13-5-1
regular season and equally admirable playoffs record. The team owes their strong season to great coaching that
encouraged skills development, fair play and sportsmanship. Many friendships were forged among the
boys during the season, with their comradeship also being a major contributing
factor to their success as a team. Many of the regular season and playoff games kept the fans on the edge of their seats with hockey that often proved to be more exciting than the NHL!
The coaches and parents are extremely proud of the boys for their hard work this season. The kids would like to thank their coaches, Gary, Perry, Stacey and Nathan and all the volunteer parents for helping to make it such a great year. The boys celebrated their outstanding season with their coaches in a fun year end party at Laser Quest in Kitchener.
