Close Game with the South Huron Sabres!
Jan. 22, 2011 (South Huron Sabres #2 at Goderich Sailors)
The Sailors played three hard fought periods against the
challenging South Huron Sabres #2 team in what proved to be a very close game.
With the Sabres having only lost 2 games all season, the Sailors played an
exceptional game to keep the score to only a 3-1 win for South Huron. Building on their last two games in
Clifford, the kids played a strong offensive and defensive game - proving what
they can do with teamwork and when everyone hustles. Bryson also made some
‘Roberto Luongo style’ saves throughout the game to shutdown many of the Sabres
chances. This was an exciting and
great game for all the kids - and good practice for the upcoming playoffs. Let’s keep playing like this Sailors!
