The first game between Goderich 1 and Goderich 2 resulted
in an exciting showdown of great hockey!
All the kids from both teams played a great game with back and forth
action that kept the score either tied or within a 1 or 2 goal difference
throughout the entire game. Goals
of the game went to Kylen, Jordyn, Joseph and Lucas, with assists from Remi,
Paige, Jacob, Ethan and Jack.
Bryson made many amazing saves to shutdown the numerous attempts by
Goderich 2.
With the game tied 7-7, Lucas put Goderich 1 ahead by one goal at the 5:07 mark in the third period. Goderich 2 fought back hard and pulled their goalie for the last minute of play to tie things up 8-8 with just 10 seconds left on the board! The final score of 8-8 between the two Novice teams was confirmation that the coaches did a great job picking two even teams at the beginning of the season!
