A game well played!!!
On Saturday January 24th the atom LL Sailors welcomed Brussels to play on their home ice.
It was an excellent game and the team worked very hard to prove that they aren't going to just back and watch! The first goal of the game was scored by Tanner Lewis with help from Chris Govier. Later on in the same period Brussels was able to tie up the score, but not without knowing that the Sailors were not going to let them take the lead.
Part way into the second period Tanner Lewis scored his second goal of the game with help from Braeden Duncan. Tanner was really keeping them on their toes!
Brian Love commanded the ice when he alone scored his goal fairly early into the third period. Not long after Chris Govier gave his best to score a goal with help from Luc Arbour. It was a game with an excellent display of team spirit and great coaching. The two goalies played a great game and allowing only one puck to slip their grip the Atom LL Sailors finished the game of with a Big win!! The final score of the game was 4-1 for Goderich.
