Atom LL Sailors on FIRE!!!
Saturday December 27th the Atom LL Sailors traveled to Brussels to face off against the Brussels Optimists.
Tanner Merkley and Trenton Foster both played an exceptional net with a combined total of 35 shots on net. The goalies only had 3 shots slip through their grasp, having stopped 91.43% of the goals this game!!
In the first period Liam Armstrong scored the first goal of the game and kept the score tied with assistance from Christopher Govier.
During the second period Tanner Lewis scored a goal with help from Luc Arbour. Leaving the second period one goal behind their competitors.
Into the third period Braeden Duncan scored a goal to tie the game up with help from Noah Smith. During the very intense third period they worked hard to bring the score ahead. With only 49 seconds left on the clock, a quick face off pass with Liam Armstrong passing directly to Braeden Duncan they scored a goal to bring their team ahead by one goal. But they wanted to seal the deal!! With only 27 seconds left in the game Cody Souch helped Liam Armstrong make the final goal of the game. With a final score in their favor of 5-3
Everybody played a VERY strong game where the team showed off their best skills. GREAT work team!! Keep up the winning streak!
