Atom Rep, 2008-2009 (Goderich Minor Hockey)

The Atom rep team have had quite a ride over the last few weeks! They are definitely coming together as a team and their 5 straight wins are proof. This weekend saw two wins, one Saturday against Listowel and one on Sunday against the first place team Mitchell. Saturday’s game was exciting right down to the last minute.

The Atom Rep may have done too much trick or treating this past Friday night! They lost both away games. On Saturday to the Kinucks and to the Cyclones on Saunday! Let's hope we have better team playing this weekend when we travel to Strathroy for a tournament.

The Atom Rep team had a very busy and productive weekend! Friday was the first game against Seaforth bringing their first win of the weekend with a score of 6-3 Goderich. This win was a true team effort with goals by Cole Lewis, Tyler Dickson, Tyler Johnson, Kody and Kyle Langlois and Dominic Burbine. Assist by Tyler Johnson, Dominic Burbine, Nate Helesic and Kyle Langlois. Zach Smith was solid between the pipes.

Despite 3 losses in their first tournament, the Atoms came away with a lot of smiles due to a fun weekend. Playing all "A" centers in this tournament they were only out scored by 3 goals in 3 games! The boys enjoyed a tour of the Attack dressing rooms and center, than enjoyed a game that night!

The boys have loss their first league game after a strong start this exhibition season! The Atom Rep faced the Mitchell Meteors on Saturday and lost 5-2. Scoring for the Sailors were Tyler Dickson and Kyle Langlois. The boys will travel to Owen Sound this weekend with a full bench looking forward to seeing an Attack game and a visit to the Coliseum.
