Bantam Jenkins Rep, U15, 2018-2019 (Goderich Minor Hockey)

Our Bantam Rep Sailors played an impeccable ‘A’ final championship game today against Lambton Shores. With the game going into 4 on 4 overtime, then 3 on 3 double overtime, tied 2-2 it came down to a final 5 shot penalty shootout final. The first goal was well earned by Greer from McBride and Hogarth. McBride had a sweet unassisted goal shot out from behind the net by the offense. And our final tie breaking goal to win the game came from Noel in the shootout and Volland shutting out the offense. The boys are on the road to play the WOAA tie breaker in Clinton tomorrow! Go Sailors!!!

In a well fought game 5, our Jenkins Bantam Rep team as defeated the Hanover Falcons with a final score of 4-0!! A victory well deserved by the team that played well together. Goal scorers were Bazinet from Greer and McGee, McGee unassisted, McGee from Aldrich and Bazinet, and finally Bazinet from Noel. The Sailors move on to play Walkerton in series 2 of OMHA.

The Jenkins Bantam Rep Sailors travelled to Hanover last night for game 3 which resulted in a tough 3-2 loss. The series is now tied at 2-2. Game 5 will be held on home ice this Saturday January 26th @ 5:30. Come out to support our boys to win the series.

The Bantam Jenkins Rep Sailors hosted the Hanover Falcons for game 1 of the OMHA playoffs, coming out with a win to start the series. Goal scorers were: Bazinet from Fraser, Greer from Hodges, McBride unassisted and Greer from Connolley. The boys are on the road for game 2 in Hanover Tuesday January 15th. Good luck boys!

Just before the Christmas break the Bantam Jenkins Rep had a big win over the Kincardine Kinucks! With a final score of 3-2, the first goal to get things moving for the Sailors was scored by Hart unassisted. The boys got rolling with another unassisted goal by Aldrich.  And again the 3rd and final goal being scored by Aldrich again, assisted by Hart. Those two were on fire, with an outstanding effort by all the boys they pulled out a big win to start the break. The team is off to watch the Kinights on New Years Eve for some team building fun!
