The Atom Zehrs Markets LL travelled to London this past weekend to participate in the Jayden Elmore tournament.  It was a great weekend had by all.  The team as a whole displayed sportsmanship, skill and perseverance.

The Atom Zehrs Markets LL team came up against teams from Barrie, Kitchener and Woolwich, all of whom pushed us to be our very best.  We matched up evenly to Barrie (Silver), leaving the game in a tie.  Our next game we met up with Kitchener.  This game brought a little competition on and off the ice as we saw ourselves up against Coach Mike's brother's team.  The Goderich Sailors along with their fans came out on top. In the last game of the Round Robin, we came up against Woolwich.  The Goderich Sailors were unstoppable and came out with a big win.  The two wins and a tie were enough to put us through to the semi-final game against Barrie (Silver).  The team showed great determination during this game, even despite the weather.  Our Atom Zehrs Markets LL came back in the second period after being down 3-0 to tie the game.  Despite all of our hard work, determination and continued perseverance the game ended with a Barrie win.  The weekend left us with plenty of laughs, new memories/friendships and team bonding.  Congrats to the boys and coaching staff on a fun-filled fantastic weekend.
